Arbitration Lawyer 3+ PQE, Dubai
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Arbitration Associate to join a leading international law firm in Dubai.
This role sits within a highly regarded disputes team, advising on complex, high-value international arbitration matters across the Middle East and beyond. The team is particularly well known for its work on major construction and infrastructure disputes.
The Role
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of international arbitration matters, including commercial and investor-state disputes. The caseload will involve large-scale, multi-jurisdictional matters, often with significant technical complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on international arbitration proceedings under major institutional rules (e.g. ICC, LCIA, DIAC)
- Supporting and leading on complex disputes from inception through to hearing
- Drafting submissions, witness statements, and expert reports
- Managing document-heavy cases and coordinating with experts and counsel
- Engaging directly with clients, experts, and arbitral tribunals
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE in international arbitration
- Experience gained at a leading international or well-regarded regional firm
- Strong academic background
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Desirable:
- Experience working on complex construction and infrastructure disputes
- Familiarity with delay analysis, technical issues, and quantum-related aspects of disputes
- Exposure to Middle East matters or an interest in the region
- Additional language skills
