ROLE PURPOSE:
The Architectural Design Engineer is Responsible to manage and ensure that the presentation and functional quality of all stores is of the highest possible standard and in line with the Company's directed design criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and provide feedback on Tenants Architectural Design submissions.
- Ensure that the presentation and functional quality of all stores is of the highest possible standard and in line with the tenant design criteria.
- Review of concept and architectural drawing against the LOD's and design criteria and technical guidelines for compliance.
- Provide design guidance for Architectural drawing submissions as required.
- Add design enhancement and value wherever possible.
- Annotate clearly and concisely on all architectural submissions.
- Monitor and track on a regular basis and provide updates for the weekly report of all design submissions and review durations.
- Architectural design reviews to be completed within 2 working days.
- Provide support where site conditions require deviation from approved architectural drawings.
- Coordinate with tenant's designers and technical teams as required to assist during the design phase for architectural detail design submissions.
- Review and understand the design guidelines and requirements for all assets.
- Production and editing of architectural lease outline drawings as required.
- Production of professional design and technical manuals using software applications as required to produce both digital and PDF manuals.
- Initiate and manage tasks related to Kissflow and Yardi systems, such as security deposit refund, TCE, PR and Shopfront design approvals.
- Weekly update of all trackers which include Design review, TCE, PR, SD and TVR.
- Contribute to achieving organizational objectives and identify opportunities to enhance property value.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as required & directed.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering architecture or equivalent, with 3-5 years of Design experience
- Role with Landlord Developer/Tenant experience is mandatory.
