Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Architect with strong experience in design and design development. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years within engineering consultancy firms.
This is a full-time office-based position, focused on developing architectural designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs through all project stages from concept to detailed design.
- Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit within a BIM environment.
- Create high-quality 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max and SketchUp.
- Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal regulations.
- Coordinate architectural work with other disciplines including structural, MEP, and planning teams.
- Review contractor/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide technical support during design implementation.
- Participate in design reviews and provide architectural input to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules.
- Assist in reviewing material submittals, mockups, and architectural detailing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering consultancy.
- Proven experience in architectural design and design development.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination across disciplines.
- Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code and local authority regulations.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Professional licensure or certification is an advantage.
