About the Role :
We are supporting a major initiative in Al Madinah to establish a dedicated Design Studio focused on shaping the city's architectural identity and ensuring effective implementation of the Al Madinah Architectural Guidelines.
We are seeking a skilled Architect to join the team and contribute to this strategic mission.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review architectural designs and ensure alignment with the Al Madinah Architectural Guidelines and local building codes.
- Support local firms by providing technical advice and feedback on guideline application.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of local architectural identity frameworks.
- Participate in design studies, research, and concept development related to local architecture.
- Prepare detailed design review reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the Design Studio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's preferred).
- 712 years of experience in architectural design or related fields.
- Experience in:
- Applying or reviewing architectural guidelines/codes, or
- Research on local architectural identity, or
- Projects using local architectural identity codes or frameworks.
- Experience with the Al Madinah Architectural Guidelines is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical design review skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.).
