As a Lead Technical Architect reporting into the Head of Design Studio, working from our Design Studio in Cairo Office.

Role Description:

Lead Technical Architect is responsible to review, coordinate & verify all project's design drawings disciplines together and conclude /clarify any point of issue; within the time set for the review. Also, he should have the knowledge and make sure that all detailed drawings done / closed properly against the right design standard details and Authorities requirements. In addition, technical engineers have adequate knowledge to review, clarify and advise for any technical inquiry (RFI) receiving during the project life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Construction Projects Coordination: The candidate should have the ability to review, coordinate & verify all project's design drawings disciplines together and conclude /clarify any point of issue; within the time set for the review.
• Experience in Construction Details: Should have the knowledge and make sure that all detailed drawings done / closed properly against the right design standard details and Authorities requirements, in full coordination with the Design team.
• Understanding and distinguishing various building & construction materials to verify and compare what is in the drawings against the project documents such as: Specs & BoQ (Packaging review)
• Adequate knowledge to review, clarify and advise for any technical inquiry receiving during the project life cycle (form design stage up to handover the project).
• Ability to review drawings in BIM format and orienting any clashing may happened between all design drawings disciplines.
• Prepare & advise for any required technical detail that supported design team.
• Keep up with what's new in the construction world.
• Will review both designs and technical details and head for small group of 12 reviewers

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: BS in Design, Architecture.
• Experience: Minimum 10-15 Years.
• Experience in large-scale and complex architectural projects.
• Computer and software proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/etc.), AutoCAD, Revit, BIM Management, Knowledge in Adobe Creative suite and BIM 360
