Design and develop the VDC process for complex and critical construction projects using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, etc.
Create and maintain BIM models using software such as Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, etc.
Perform clash detection and coordination using software such as Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.
Produce 3D visualizations and animations using software such as Lumion, Enscape, etc.
Implement and oversees VDC technology initiatives such as laser scanning, drones, virtual reality, etc.
Provide support for software and hardware systems that are used by the VDC team
Work with the VDC team to ensure quality and accuracy of BIM models and deliverables.
Communicate with project stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Train and mentor junior VDC specialists
Provide technical leadership and direction for VDC projects and teams.
Recruit, hire, develop and retain staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession. Coordinates schedules and approves timecards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
Minimum 8 Years of Experiences with at least 3 years of experience in tech-leading BIM for Infrastructure projects
Proven experience in major projects
Experience in managing (CDE Common Data Environment, Naming Convention and Data Validation)
