Job Role:
Responsible for developing architectural design concepts, preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with design standards, regulations, and project requirements. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective design solutions across project phases.
Basic Candidate Requirements:
- 46 years of experience in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of materials available in the Saudi market, with experience dealing with local suppliers.
- Proficiency in design software (3ds Max, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray).
- Good knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and construction regulations for commercial projects.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and related specifications, including ISO 19200, with relevant certified training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop architectural concepts for projects (Concept Design).
- Develop architectural designs and prepare detailed drawings.
- Ensure compliance of designs and drawings with building codes and requirements of relevant authorities (Municipalities, Civil Defense, and other governmental entities).
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Structural, Electrical, Mechanical).
- Prepare specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ & Specs).
- Review contractors shop drawings.
- Review and approve material submittals.
