Job Summary

Leading the preparation and review of detailed architectural working drawings and construction documents, ensuring accuracy, constructability, coordination with other disciplines, and compliance with approved designs, specifications, and codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review architectural working drawings, details, sections, schedules, and specifications.
  • Translate approved concept and schematic designs into fully detailed construction documents.
  • Develop architectural details for finishes, joinery, doors, windows, faades, and interfaces.
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
  • Review coordinated drawings and resolve technical and constructability issues.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and technical reviews.
  • Ensure all architectural drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and authority requirements.
  • Apply and enforce quality control procedures for architectural documentation.
  • Review and incorporate comments from clients, consultants, and authorities.
  • Guide and support junior engineers and draftsmen in preparing accurate drawings.
  • Review junior team outputs and provide technical feedback.
  • Support the Section Head in managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Provide design clarifications and support to site teams during construction.
  • Review architectural shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Assist in resolving site-related design issues and RFIs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 69 years of experience in architectural working drawings.
  • Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong exposure to construction-stage coordination and support.
  • Expert knowledge of architectural detailing and construction documentation.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM coordination experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent command of English.
