Job Summary
Oversee the implementation of architectural works on site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role requires coordination with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor architectural works on site, including finishes, partitions, ceilings, doors, windows, and external works.
- Ensure all architectural construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to resolve site-related issues and avoid conflicts.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and document site observations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on site.
- Assist in resolving technical and design issues during construction.
- Participate in site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Review and verify as-built drawings and handover documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in site supervision of architectural works on medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent site management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead teams and work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
