Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple pharmacy branches within the assigned area. Day-to-day tasks include supervising branch managers, monitoring sales and profitability, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role involves planning and executing operational strategies, managing staffing levels, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and coordinating training and development initiatives for team members. The Area Manager will conduct regular branch visits, review inventory and merchandising, address operational challenges, and implement continuous improvement measures. Collaboration with senior management to report on area performance, set targets, and support expansion plans is a key part of this role.
Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Operational and retail management experience, preferably in pharmacies or healthcare, covering branch oversight, inventory control, and workflow optimization.
• Business and analytical abilities, such as interpreting sales reports, setting targets, managing budgets, and making data-driven decisions.
• Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with customers, staff, and stakeholders, and handle escalations professionally.
• Organizational and time management skills, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple branches and projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, basic pharmaceutical regulations, and quality standards; prior experience in a pharmacy environment is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic business software; ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Willingness to travel frequently between branches within Giza and surrounding areas and work flexible hours when needed.
