The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of multiple fast-food outlets within an assigned region. The role ensures consistent operational excellence, achievement of sales and profitability targets, compliance with company standards, and development of store management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of assigned branches to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Ensure high levels of food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction across all locations.
Monitor operational KPIs including sales, labor cost, food cost, waste, and productivity.
People Management
Lead, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers and supervisors to improve performance and leadership capability.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions for management staff.
Ensure proper workforce planning and staffing levels across all branches.
Performance & Financial Control
Achieve sales targets and profitability objectives for the assigned area.
Analyze financial and operational reports and implement corrective action plans where needed.
Control costs and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety regulations, and local labor laws.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain operational and legal compliance.
Ensure implementation of corrective actions for any operational or compliance gaps.
Strategic Execution
Implement company strategies, promotions, and initiatives consistently across all branches.
Support new store openings and operational rollouts.
Act as a link between head office and branch operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 57 years of experience in fast-food or QSR operations, with at least 23 years in a multi-unit management role.
Strong knowledge of fast-food operations, cost control, and performance management systems.
