Volkswagen Group Middle East is seeking an experienced and commercially driven professional to join our Bentley Sales & Marketing team as Area Sales Manager - Middle East, Africa & India. In this role, you will be the primary brand interface for the region, responsible for the performance management, coaching, and development of a network of 10 retailers across six countries. You will ensure delivery of ambitious sales, customer experience, and profitability objectives, while safeguarding Bentley's reputation as the most sought-after luxury car brand.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse and high-growth markets, combining strategic oversight with hands-on retailer engagement. You will coach and, performance-manage retailer teams on sales funnel activity and demand generation, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with Bentley's Beyond100+ strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving sales performance across 10 retailer locations in 6 markets, delivering around 400 - 500 new cars per year.
- Managing retailer sales funnel KPIs, new car wholesale and retail targets, and pre-owned sales performance.
- Supporting marketing plans in conjunction with retailers and the regional marketing team, ensuring implementation and tracking of key outcomes.
- Coaching retailer sales teams on Sales Excellence and identifying training and development needs.
- Ensuring compliance with Bentley brand standards and delivering luxury customer experiences.
- Monitoring retailer profitability, supporting tactical initiatives, and optimizing sales mix to drive revenue.
- Providing intelligence and insights to support product planning, pricing, and future business decisions.
KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related field
- 58 years of experience in the automotive industry, with exposure to sales, aftersales, planning, or marketing
- Proven experience in sales management, ideally within automotive or luxury retail environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to optimize sales performance and profitability.
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyse data and KPIs to drive informed business decisions.
- Experience of working across multiple markets with cultural awareness and adaptability.
- Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experience in line with luxury brand standards.
