Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City for an Asphalt Technician. The Asphalt Technician is responsible for conducting quality control tests on asphalt materials, inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications, and preparing detailed reports. The role involves the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment, collecting and analyzing samples, and collaborating with team members to ensure project success. The technician will also provide technical support regarding asphalt applications and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in asphalt testing, material sampling, and equipment calibration
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM procedures and quality control protocols
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards
• Proficiency in report preparation and documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Physically able to work on construction sites and handle equipment
• Prior experience in an asphalt or construction materials testing environment is an asset
• Relevant certifications or training in asphalt and concrete technologies are highly preferred
