Our Asset and Inventory Coordinator has responsibility for optimizing inventory levels based on the costs of assets, inventory and warehousing, service levels, and replenishment time and costs. You will work with supply chain to determine optimal inventory levels, analyze historical sales data and seasonal demand to determine inventory needs. This will also require analyzing processes to determine replenishment cycles, and resolving issues related to inventory levels and replenishment. You may also propose improvements to processes and provide work direction to others if requested.
Responsibilities

Asset Management:
Monitor the acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of downhole tools assets.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure assets are in good working condition.
Coordinate with various departments to track and manage asset movements.
Utilize asset tracking systems to maintain accurate records and asset documentation.

Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory control process for downhole tools and related equipment.
Monitor stock levels, anticipate demand, and initiate procurement actions.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
Implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of assets and inventory, including purchase details, maintenance history, and disposal records.
Generate reports on asset utilization, inventory levels, and financial performance.
Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
Provide regular updates and recommendations to management regarding asset and inventory management strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless asset and inventory management.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet their asset and inventory requirements.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers to coordinate asset maintenance and repair activities.
Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to asset and inventory management.
Qualifications
Experience & Education

REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or business administration. Advanced degrees may be preferred.
Proven experience in asset and inventory management, preferably within the oil and gas industry or related sectors.
Strong knowledge JD Edward tool and equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

REQUIRED
Familiarity with asset tracking systems and inventory management software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
