We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As part of our commitment to Emiratisation, this position is specifically designed for UAE nationals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing strategies to achieve branch performance targets
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and mentor a team of banking professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the branch's customer base
  • Resolve complex customer issues and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Implement and monitor risk management protocols to safeguard the branch's assets and reputation
  • Participate in local community events and initiatives to promote the bank's brand and services

Qualifications

  • UAE national, in line with Emiratisation initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and risk management
  • Advanced customer relationship management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE banking regulations and practices
  • Familiarity with Emiratisation policies and initiatives
  • Proficiency in banking software and systems
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • Professional banking certifications (e.g., CBA, CAMS) are highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
