The Role: Focused on Analytical Excellence

We are looking for a highly analytical Credit Manager / Assistant Manager to join our risk assessment team. This role is central to our credit-granting process, requiring a professional who can deliver high-quality credit write-ups rooted in sound financial logic and aligned with our risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Quality Underwriting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and produce comprehensive credit memos for complex leasing transactions.

Strategic Risk Assessment: Evaluate customer creditworthiness by identifying key risk drivers and proposing robust mitigation strategies.

Portfolio Oversight: Proactively monitor the quality of the credit portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies and FRA/CBE regulations.

Decision Support: Lead the credit approval workflow, providing expert recommendations to the Credit Committee and Senior Management.

Stakeholder Synergy: Act as a strategic bridge between Business Development and Risk departments to facilitate sustainable growth and a proper risk position.

Qualifications & Competencies:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.

Must-Have: Completion of a formal Credit Course (e.g., NBE, CIB, or reputable equivalent).

Experience: Proven track record in credit management/underwriting within Financial Leasing or Banking.

Analytical skills: Exceptional ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable risk insights.

Communication: Strong presentation skills with the ability to defend credit positions to senior stakeholders.
