Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain major accounts and assigned market segments- including the Corporate Segment- through proactive sales activities such as face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, client entertainment, and site inspections.
- Achieve monthly individual revenue targets assigned by the Commercial Director.
- Develop and retain business across all hotel revenue streams, including Rooms, Corporate Accounts, Food & Beverage, banqueting, and conference services.
- Ensure full sales coverage for all assigned segments, especially corporate clients, to deliver comprehensive client servicing, achieve targets, and maximize productivity.
- Set sales objectives, action plans, and team targets aligned with the hotel's commercial and corporate sales strategies.
- Conduct in-house show rounds and host potential and existing corporate accounts to highlight hotel services and facilities.
- Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, and other required sales-related meetings.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, corporate networking events, community events, and industry functions to generate business leads and strengthen corporate relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Corporate Segment and other assigned markets; ensure the sales team remains fully updated on competitive movements.
- Consolidate accurate month-end sales reports and provide relevant insights for management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Sales policies, SOPs, and corporate guidelines.
- Actively contribute to achieving the hotel's overall budget, with strong focus on corporate room revenue.
- Manage, guide, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance, productivity, and optimal market penetration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 57 years of progressive experience in hotel sales, preferably handling the Corporate Segment.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management principles, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Opera.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a sales team to achieve departmental goals.
- Strong networking abilities with established corporate and industry contacts (an advantage).
- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and commercial awareness.
- Flexibility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
