Assistant Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Logistics Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing logistics operations within Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The ideal candidate will support the logistics team in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods, compliance with Free Zone regulations, and effective coordination with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and transportation.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics documentation in compliance with JAFZA regulations.

Track shipments and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory management and timely dispatch of goods.

Address and resolve any logistics issues or discrepancies promptly.

Ensure compliance with JAFZA policies, UAE customs regulations, and international shipping standards.

Support the preparation of periodic logistics reports and performance metrics.

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams

Qualifications And Skills

Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics operations within Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA).

Strong knowledge of JAFZA regulations, UAE customs procedures, and international trade compliance.

Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT degree or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Requirements

Familiarity with Free Zone E-clearance systems and platforms.
