- Assist in the development of the Bank's long-term strategic plan and annual business plan.
- Support preparation of strategy papers and product notes aligned with implementation of the corporate strategic plan.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic positioning and decision-making.
- Contribute to translation of strategic priorities into annual work programmes and departmental action plans.
- Support monitoring of strategy implementation and performance tracking.
- Assist in preparing strategic reports and presentations for Senior Management and Board Committees.
- Support half-year and annual strategic performance reviews.
- Track key strategic initiatives and provide progress updates.
- Contribute to environmental scanning and event-triggered strategic reviews.
- Assist in developing financial models and projections aligned with strategic objectives.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor analysis.
- Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis exercises.
- Provide analytical input to budgeting and planning processes.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather data and align strategy initiatives.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities linked to corporate strategy execution.
- Adhere to AML, Regulatory, and Conduct Compliance policies.
- Report any suspicious or non-compliant activities.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training requirements.
- Postgraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised university.
- Minimum of 58 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, consulting, financial services, or related fields.
- Experience in strategic analysis, financial modelling, or business planning.
- Strong understanding of African trade and development issues is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Financial modelling and forecasting capability.
- Excellent research and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of French, Arabic, or Portuguese is an advantage).
- Ability to function effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
