Purpose of the Role

The Assistant Manager-Lease contract management is responsible of Maintaining the lease administration function in the applicable Market. and support function to the Real Estate team to manage effective controls, data accuracy & tracking, maintaining an effective audit trail and effective lease signing aligned with Americana standards & policies to meet the department goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end lease lifecycle including lease execution, lease administration, renewals, amendments, terminations, and compliance in line with organizational objectives and SOPs.

Oversee lease management activities including commercial terms, clauses, obligations, and associated financials within the lease management system (not limited to abstraction).

Ensure strong governance of lease portfolio by tracking and monitoring key lease events such as renewals, expirations, break options, kick-out clauses, and termination rights.

Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, lease status reporting, and monthly forecasts for lease signings and New Store Openings (NSOs).

Review, analyze, and interpret commercial lease agreements to ensure alignment with company leasing strategy, Desired Lease Conditions (DLCs), compliance requirements, and financial exposure.

Identify lease-related financial risks and recommend contract amendments or mitigation actions in coordination with Legal and Finance teams.

Prepare, review, and negotiate lease amendments, renewals, and termination agreements ensuring commercial and financial alignment.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Real Estate, Operations) to ensure lease structures support business objectives and portfolio performance.

Ensure accurate documentation, system updates, and audit-ready lease records within the lease management system, ensuring full transparency and traceability of terms and financials.

Monitor day-to-day lease administration operations within the assigned portfolio/geographical area while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Track, analyze, and report critical lease financial and operational data to support decision-making and portfolio optimization.

Provide insights and recommendations to improve lease efficiency, cost optimization, and portfolio performance.

Ensure timely execution of lease processes, demonstrating ownership, urgency, and accountability for deliverables.

Support high-profile strategic projects requiring advanced lease analysis, financial understanding, and cross-functional coordination.

Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and systems to enhance lease governance, efficiency, and risk control.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience Prior leasing experience in tenant‑side is preferred
  • Strong Understanding of commercial leasing.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point is essential
  • Knowledge of legal terms & language of the lease.
  • Experience of extensive Real Estate System Implementation projects.

  • Ability to plan, organize and adapt in various situations to meet business objectives
  • Experience of ERP, CRM, TANGO, Real Estate System Implementation lease life cycle
  • Strong analytical abilities
