Job purpose:
As a Banking Operations Associate, you will support the Banking Operations Manager in ensuring smooth and compliant operations with our banking partners. You'll play a key role in managing merchant documentation, resolving compliance issues, and coordinating across teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Communicate with banking partners to resolve account and facility-related issues promptly
- Identify, assess, and escalate non-compliance cases when needed
- Upload, verify, and audit merchant documentation to ensure full compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date database for all merchant documents
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to collect required merchant documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents to the Underwriting team for processing
- Conduct periodic audits on merchant files to identify discrepancies, risks, or missing information
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, documentation activities, and operational performance
- Identify inefficiencies in documentation and compliance workflows and propose improvements
- Work with the Operations team to implement standardized processes and enhance overall efficiency
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking operations, compliance, or document management (fintech/banking preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
