Operations
- Ensure all marine operations comply with statutory, class, and company requirements
- Monitor weather and rig motions; advise the OIM/Marine Planner on operational impact
- Maintain stability calculations, load distribution, and daily marine reports
- Coordinate helicopter and supply vessel movements, including personnel and materials
- Ensure readiness of navigation equipment, cranes, lifting gear, bulk, safety, and pollution control systems
- Support rig moves, inspections, marine logs, and ongoing regulatory compliance
HSE
- Apply Safety Analysis to all tasks and actively promote Safety Conversations across the rig
- Ensure QHSE policies, safety case requirements, and safety inductions are communicated and understood
- Exercise Time Out for Safety (TOFS) when hazards or changes in conditions are identified
- Participate in emergency drills and perform assigned emergency response duties while maintaining high housekeeping standards
PREREQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Crane Operator, Deck Supervisor, or Assistant Marine Planner on a jackup unit
- Maritime background with solid knowledge of marine calculations, stability, and drilling unit operations
- Valid medical examination and vaccination certificate
- Meet the training requirements according to the applicable training matrix
