Assistant Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure raw materials such as steel, aluminum, rubber, chemicals, glass, and other manufacturing inputs.
• Prepare MIS reports and develop Power BI dashboards for spend analysis, cost savings, supplier performance, and Capex tracking.
• Present procurement reports, insights, and performance analysis to senior management.
• Work extensively on SAP S/4HANA for procurement transactions, reporting, and data management.
• Drive and support procurement process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and control.
• Conduct market research and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective sourcing.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and contractual adherence.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements within procurement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support manufacturing and project requirements.

Required Experience:

• 815 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in sourcing raw materials.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in procurement automation and process optimization.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, MS Excel, and MIS reporting.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Manufacturing / Supply Chain (preferred).
