Job Brief:

TheAssistant Procurement Managerwill support and execute end-to-end procurement activities while ensuring alignment with company policies, cost objectives, and supply chain efficiency. This role involves close coordination with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of quality goods and services. The position requires strong experience in SAP-based procurement, data reporting, automation initiatives, and sourcing raw materials within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute procurement activities in line with company policies and objectives.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of quality goods and services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs.
  • Prepare comprehensiveMIS reports and dashboardsfor procurement, includingPower BI, procurement automation insights, cost-saving analysis, and outsourcing strategies.
  • Track and reportCAPEX and project statuses, conduct monthly training sessions, and participate in weekly meetings with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of procurement plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure optimal commercial agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, transactions, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide operational support.
  • Identify opportunities forcost savings, automation, and process improvementswithin procurement operations.
  • Support overall team performance by covering additional responsibilities during peak workloads or team member absences.
  • Monitor end-to-end procurement activities for assigned suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations where procurement targets or KPIs have not been met.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree inEngineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain(preferred).
  • 815 yearsof experience in a Buyer or Procurement role with360-degree / end-to-end procurement exposure.
  • Strong hands-on experience withSAPin procurement operations.
  • Proven experience in procuringraw materialssuch as steel, rubber, chemicals, or similar materials within amanufacturing environment or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement practices, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
  • Experience inpresenting procurement data to senior leadership, preferably usingPower BI dashboards and reports.
  • Demonstrated experience inprocurement automation initiatives(examples required).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong technical proficiency inMS Office, Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Valid driving license (mandatory).
