Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle for subcontract packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications and company standards.
- Prepare, review, and finalize subcontract agreements, work orders, and RFP/RFQ documentation.
- Evaluate subcontractor technical and commercial proposals and conduct detailed comparative analyses.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, contracts, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
- Lead negotiations with subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contract documentation, and subcontractor performance data.
- Ensure timely issuance of LOIs, subcontract agreements, and variation orders.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify potential risks in subcontracting activities and recommend mitigation plans.
- Support procurement strategy development and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in procurement within the civil construction industry.
- Must have worked with Tier 1 civil contractors on large-scale building /Villa projects.
- Strong expertise in subcontract procurement (not material procurement).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and commercial evaluation skills.
- Solid understanding of contract conditions, scope packages, and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines and multiple subcontract packages.
