Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our high-end restaurant. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will assist in overseeing staff, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support daily operations to ensure high-quality service and efficient functioning of the restaurant.
  • Manage and train staff, ensuring they provide excellent service, are knowledgeable about the menu, and adhere to restaurant policies.
  • Assist in inventory control, ensuring the restaurant has adequate stock and supplies while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee guest experiences, resolve customer complaints promptly, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, ensuring a safe and pleasant dining environment for guests.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement and follow-up on procedures for staff performance, service standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in financial management, including budget monitoring, cost control, and achieving sales targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
  • Support with scheduling and ensuring staffing levels meet operational demands.
  • Help maintain the restaurant's atmosphere by assisting with décor, ambiance, and overall guest experience.

Must-Haves for This Role:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and staff in a professional manner.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Proficiency with restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
