Whom We Are Looking For

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our front-of-house team. You're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong teams, and leads with both structure and warmth. You care deeply about guest experience, team motivation, and operational excellence, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service operations and support the Restaurant GM in delivering a smooth, memorable guest experience.
  • Supervise and coach the FOH team, including waiters, runners, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Lead service briefings, manage guest flow, and handle reservations and table allocations.
  • Ensure VIP guests and regulars receive personalized attention.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and follow up for resolution.
  • Manage inventory, place FOH orders, and monitor usage and wastage.
  • Assist with rostering, shift coverage, and labour cost management.
  • Operate the POS system, oversee end-of-day closing, tips, discounts, and voids.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and municipality standards are upheld.
  • Support planning and execution of in-house promotions and events.
  • Monitor maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of FOH and shared spaces.

Your Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within premium casual or fine dining.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate diverse service teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Confident in handling VIPs and guest feedback with diplomacy and care.
  • Experience with POS systems, end-of-day procedures, and basic reporting.
  • Solid understanding of stock management and ordering processes.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; Spanish is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
