Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager Sales to support business development and market expansion for our Masterbatch portfolio across the UAE and the wider GCC region. The role requires hands-on field sales capability, strong customer engagement skills, and working knowledge of the masterbatch industry. The candidate must be currently based in the UAE with a valid residence visa and driving license to independently manage customer visits and territory development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Development & Market Expansion
- Drive new business development across UAE and GCC markets for masterbatch products.
- Identify and develop new customers, applications, and industry segments.
- Generate and convert leads through field visits, networking, and industry references.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, processors, and OEM customers.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution support.
- Ensure regular follow-ups on enquiries, trials, and commercial closures.
3. Territory & Account Management
- Manage assigned territory and key accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Track customer pipelines and opportunity stages systematically.
- Support repeat business and account growth.
4. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and product movements in the region.
- Share market feedback and opportunity inputs with internal teams.
- Identify emerging applications and sector opportunities.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Maintain regular sales activity reports and pipeline updates.
- Use CRM tools for lead tracking, visit reports, and opportunity management.
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and technical teams for order execution and customer support. Eligibility & Requirements Experience
- 1224 months of sales experience in the masterbatch / plastics / polymer additives industry.
- Exposure to B2B industrial sales preferred. Location & Legal Status Must be currently based and settled in the UAE.
- Must have a valid UAE driving license for field sales travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage. Skills & Competencies
