Job Purpose
The Assistant Security Manager supports the Security Manager in overseeing on-site security operations for all Sinyar employees, contractors, and stakeholders. The role involves managing third-party security providers, liaising with government and military entities, and ensuring compliance with local safety legislation, policies, and emergency procedures to deliver a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security strategies and business objectives aligned with company goals.
- Direct and coordinate activities of third-party security teams.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure staff compliance with security procedures.
- Organize and supervise property patrols across boundaries, offices, storage areas, public spaces, and event areas.
- Liaise with government, military, and law enforcement agencies when required.
- Prepare and review incident reports, ensuring proper follow-up and investigation.
- Plan, deliver, and facilitate regular employee security awareness training.
- Assist in emergency management, contingency planning, and crisis response (medical emergencies, fire alarms, bomb threats, intrusions).
- Develop and implement security procedures across PPP and QAW operations.
- Support monitoring of compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, and government directives.
- Maintain and update security listings, including gate passes, emergency lists, and ID documentation.
- Supervise staff and vehicle access control processes.
- Provide support during pre-event, live event, and post-event security operations.
- Assist in corporate evaluations, governmental reviews, and assessments of overall security effectiveness.
- Maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and government bodies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Security Manager.

Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Military background preferred.
- Mandatory: SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) and DPS (Department of Protective System) certifications.
- First Aid, Fire Safety, and Bomb Threat response certifications required.
Experience
- Minimum 23 years in a similar role within hospitality, luxury hotels, or large organizations (56 star property experience preferred).
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures, security operations, and incident reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Arabic preferred; English proficiency required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with government/military entities.
