We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Dubai on a 6-month temporary basis as Assistant Technical Executive.

The Assistant Technical Executive supports the Knauf GCC Technical Back Office by assisting in the preparation of accurate, complete, and project-specific gypsum, drywall, and ceiling system submittals.
This 6-month temporary role is primarily documentation- and coordination-driven, aimed at providing hands-on exposure to technical documentation workflows while ensuring that proposals are translated into compliant technical submittals with the correct products, accessories, and supporting documentation, issued in a timely manner to the sales teams across the GCC.
What You'll Be Doing
Technical Submittals & Documentation
- Review project proposals and related documents to understand scope and specified requirements.
- Assist in preparing project-specific technical submittals for Knauf gypsum, drywall, and ceiling systems.
- Support correct selection of products, systems, and accessories as per approved proposals.
- Compile and organize supporting documents, including but not limited to: Product data sheets, Test reports, System performance documentation, and Certifications (fire, acoustic, sustainability / LEED where applicable).
- Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with Knauf GCC standards under supervision.
Internal Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with the Technical Back Office and relevant internal teams to obtain: Compliance statements, System confirmations, Required clarifications.
- Support revisions and resubmissions as guided by senior team members.
- Maintain clear internal communication to support submission timelines.
Submittal Finalization & Distribution
- Assist in compiling final submittal packages in PDF format with proper structure and indexing.
- Support issuance of soft copies of submittals to sales teams across the GCC.
- Assist with hard-copy submissions when required, including printing and coordination.
- Maintain organized records of issued submittals.
Administration & Tracking
- Maintain submittal trackers, document registers, and logs using Microsoft Excel.
- Follow defined workflows and internal procedures.
- Support general administrative and documentation-related activities within the Technical Department.
What We'd Love For You To Have

- Exposure (05 years, including internships) to administration, documentation handling, or technical coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (trackers, logs), Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to compile and organize PDF submittal packages, including proper file naming, indexing, and formatting.
- Effective coordination and follow-up skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Time management and prioritization to meet submission timelines.
- Willingness to learn and follow defined workflows and procedures.
- Ability to commit to a 6month, documentation-focused assignment (Dubai-based).
- Please note this is not a permanent position, this is a 6-month contract role.
