The role supports the implementation of digital content strategy and CMS governance that contributes to Expo City's vision, mission and business priorities.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
CMS Architecture & Content Management
- Maintain and refine CMS architecture (Contentful preferred) ensuring reusable, structured content types.
- Implement and manage content models, taxonomy structures and metadata governance.
- Support API integrations and structured data enhancements.
- Ensure continuous CMS housekeeping, documentation and user guidance.
End-to-End Content Process
- Coordinate content gathering, drafting, review, translation and publishing.
- Manage bilingual content updates across web, app and chatbot platforms.
- Ensure semantic consistency across languages and channels.
- Maintain content standards aligned with brand tone of voice and editorial guidelines.
User Experience & Optimisation
- Implement minor HTML and CSS adjustments where required.
- Ensure content is optimised for search performance and AI retrieval systems.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with SEO agency and analytics teams to improve discoverability and engagement.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills required:
4+ years experience in digital content management or CMS administration as well as:
- Degree in Marketing, media, Advertising or BIS
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (contentful preferred), HTML and CSS
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and structured content principles communication skills
- Experience in content modelling, taxonomy design and metadata governance.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with AI/LLM optimization and generative search principles
- Familarity with API integrations and structured data frameworks
- Experience working within large scale organisations
