Role Overview
My client are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Associate Director – Product to lead the development and growth of innovative healthcare products. This role will drive product vision, roadmap execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact digital and clinical solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap aligned with business and healthcare objectives
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and optimization
- Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver compliant and scalable solutions
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
- Drive product innovation in areas such as digital health, patient engagement, telemedicine, and data analytics
- Ensure compliance with regional healthcare regulations (e.g., DHA, MOH, DOH standards)
- Establish KPIs and track product performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
- Manage and mentor product managers and cross-functional teams
- Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, partners, and leadership teams
- Support go-to-market strategies, pricing, and commercialization plans
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12+ years of experience in product management, preferably within healthcare or healthtech
- Proven track record of launching and scaling digital or clinical products
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and patient workflows in the UAE/GCC
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, clinical, and regulatory
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital health platforms, EMR/EHR systems, or telehealth solutions
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR equivalents in UAE)
- Agile/Scrum product development experience
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in healthcare
