The Project

This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings and educational facilities.

As an Associate Director - Risk you will lead the implementation and administration of a comprehensive range of risk management services to support the PMO commission and provide line management leadership and guidance for others within the Client Organisation, PMO team and wider Mace business as required.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead risk management performance and ensure effective frameworks and strategies across assigned commissions.
  • Act as trusted advisor and subject matter expert, building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Direct clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on all risk management matters.
  • Deliver quantitative risk analysis (cost and time) and advise on contingency adequacy in reporting cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with Mace Control Centre, client requirements, and prevailing legislation.
  • Provide line management, mentoring, and career development support to junior risk managers.
  • Drive innovation and align practices with industry best standards to achieve service excellence.
  • Champion sustainability by integrating carbon risk management into project delivery, supporting net zero transition.

You'll Need To Have

  • Proven leadership in risk management on complex construction projects.
  • Expert knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and reporting suites.
  • Strong planning, analytics, and communication skills.
  • Relevant degree with chartered status or professional membership.
