Job Description

Make Construction Better As an Operator (Associate prefabricator) in the prefabrication unit, you will be responsible for performing cutting and assembly of prefabricated components in accordance with approved drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. Your role is essential in supporting smooth daily operations by ensuring dimensional accuracy, proper material handling, and safe use of cutting and assembly tools. By maintaining an organized work area, following established processes, and collaborating with the team, you will contribute to consistent quality, efficient workflow, and timely project delivery.

What You'll do As a Operator (Associate prefabricator) in the prefabrication unit, you will be responsible for carrying out cutting and assembly of prefabricated components with accuracy and efficiency. Your duties include following technical drawings and work instructions, cutting materials to required dimensions, preparing components for assembly, and ensuring parts are correctly assembled and secured according to project specifications. You will perform basic quality checks to verify measurements, identify visible defects, and ensure work meets defined safety and quality standards.

You will support daily pre-assembly operations by working closely with team members, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring materials and tools are handled correctly. The role requires the use of various cutting and assembly tools and equipment, while ensuring they are used safely and reported if any issues or malfunctions are identified.

You will strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulations while contributing to efficient workflow, consistent output, and timely completion of assigned tasks.

What You'll Bring

  • Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field preferred).
  • 13 years of hands-on experience operating basic machines in a fabrication, manufacturing, production, warehousing, or repair environment.
  • Valid forklift driving license with practical operating experience is preferred.
  • Good command of English with strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer literacy, including the ability to operate a PC and work with standard office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Fundamental understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement concepts, and basic production planning.
  • Practical experience handling production materials and working in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety, quality standards, and workplace housekeeping.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
  • Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures accurately.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
