Job Description

College/Department Profile

The faculty member will lead teaching and research activities in innovation and preincubation, contributing to the development of entrepreneurial competencies among students. This role involves designing and delivering academic courses, supervising student research, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. He or she will actively engage in scholarly research, publish in high-impact journals, and contribute to the university's innovation ecosystem through mentorship, curriculum development, and strategic partnerships. The role also includes supporting the university's pre-incubation Hub by integrating academic research with practical applications, guiding students in transforming ideas into market-ready solutions, and collaborating with external stakeholders to enhance innovation capacity.

Duties & Responsibilities1. Faculty members are expected to provide up-to-datereportsinvolvingteaching activities and student advising as assigned bythe department
2. Faculty members will be responsible for coursedevelopmentandparticipate in curriculum and program development
3. Meet all instructional and advising responsibilities asspecifiedinthe policies and procedures (refer to Part-4 within this handbook)
4. Participate in scholarly and research activities whichenhancetheirprofessional development and contribute to their discipline
5. Serve as appropriate in the department, college and university committees

Academic:
  1. Current Curriculum Vitae with Cover letter.
  2. Teaching,research, and service philosophy.
  3. Three referees contact information (physical and email addresses as well their telephones contact).
  4. Copy of highest earned credential (transcript of highest degree if graduated from an institution where course work was completed.However, if no course work was completed,an copy of certificate letter from the registrar of your highest credential granting institution regarding your highest academic degree).
  5. Any additional documentation that you feel is relevant to your application.
