KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the MSEIT contract. By applying to this position, you are in consideration for KBR employment. However, you also have the option to be hired by one of our subcontractor teammates.

KBR is seeking a motivated Associate Systems Integrator to support the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command (SSC). This position provides critical day-to-day coordination and program management support to the systems engineering and integration (SE&I) and Agile delivery teams.

The successful candidate will help organize multi-contractor activities, support software and tool procurement, manage status tracking and communication workflows, and ensure integration awareness across program teams. This role is ideal for someone seeking to grow into systems integration or program management leadership within a high-visibility Department of Defense (DoD) software and systems engineering program.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force's Space Systems Center (SSC). We support the Space Force's acquisition of state of the art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination: Support planning, facilitation, and documentation of recurring working groups, technical reviews, and stakeholder meetings. Manage meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions to ensure closure and accountability.

Integration Support: Assist the SE&I and program leadership teams in coordinating technical and programmatic activities across development, cyber, DevOps, and operations disciplines.

Procurement Coordination: Support tracking and coordination of software-related procurement actions, including license renewals, subscription management, and purchase requests.

License & Asset Tracking: Maintain visibility into software licensing, seat utilization, and expiration schedules to ensure uninterrupted tool availability across teams.

Status & Reporting: Collect, organize, and synthesize program status inputs; develop summary charts, dashboards, and other visual materials for internal and external reporting.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate among software, systems, and mission stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of dependencies.

Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with users, mission partners, OA representatives, and other government and contractor stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination.

Tool & Workflow Adaptability: Operate effectively within heterogeneous collaboration ecosystemsMS Teams, Slack, Mattermost, Jira, Confluence, and othersbridging communication across diverse technical and organizational environments.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline coordination processes, improve document traceability, and enhance overall program communication efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one required for this position
  • Technical Bachelor's Degree
  • 35 years of experience in program coordination, systems integration, or project support within a technical or defense environment.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and terminology (Scrum, PI planning, backlog management).
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Slack, Mattermost, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing presentation materials for leadership audiences.

Desired

  • Prior experience supporting DoD acquisition, SE&I, or Space Systems Command (SSC) programs.
  • Knowledge of SATCOM systems, networks, or mission operations. Exposure to SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, cloud-native, or Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Experience supporting configuration management or asset tracking activities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe Agilist, or other relevant certification (or willingness to pursue).
  • TS/SCI eligibility preferred

Basic Compensation: $102,000-$127,000 in California

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

THE ROLE

Reports to the Technical Director within the Programme Team. Responsible for Programme interface management with key stakeholders, in order to obtain all approvals related to design, handover, construction and issue resolution.

Project Description

KBR has been appointed under a framework agreement with the largest developer in Abu Dhabi to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure such as transportation networks and utilities, alongside public spaces and involving also the shaping of thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities, together with the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. This PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabi's built environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create a stakeholder map and develop, monitor and update the Stakeholder Management Plan
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to enable effective communication between their respective agency and the client Programme
  • Support the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in successfully driving infrastructure and building project issues through the respective agencies, with the aim to ensure project schedules are not impacted by stakeholder approvals, NOCs and permits.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each stakeholder agency's processes and challenges to enable the delivery team to tailor requirements accordingly
  • Feedback stakeholder issues, with proposed mitigations, to the PMC team to resolve issues and ensure appropriate timescales are included within project schedules for all approvals and permits
  • Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders and communicate issues to the appropriate Manager
  • Support the Technical Team and Delivery Managers to resolve issues between stakeholders and Design Consultants and Contractors in relation to both infrastructure and building projects
  • Maintain records of Stakeholder concerns, actions, owners, and due date
  • Prepare recommendations to improve communication and approval procedures with stakeholders.

Experience, Skills And Knowledge

  • BSc construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent
  • Minimum overall relevant experience 15 years.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 5 years working in Middle East
  • Fluency in Arabic and English languages both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of design and construction management on buildings and civil infrastructure projects including utilities interface and coordination management
  • Particular experience of dealing with Government Authorities and Utility Service Providers. Experience of Abu Dhabi Authorities is desirable
  • Experience and skills in developing and managing Stakeholder relationships.
