About the Role:
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Assurance Practitioner (Assurer) to join our sustainability assurance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering verification and assurance services, supporting technical discussions, and ensuring high-quality reporting in alignment with industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Assurance Lead and support project execution.
- Lead and participate in technical discussions with QatarEnergy and privatized company stakeholders.
- Perform verification and assurance activities in line with sustainability frameworks.
- Organize and manage follow-up actions on audit/verification findings.
- Prepare and issue verification reports with accuracy and clarity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Conduct technical and quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability assurance, verification, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of sustainability standards, auditing, and verification processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with energy sector clients
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability reporting frameworks, and assurance standards.
- Strong analytical and report-writing capabilities.
