Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to install, configure, and support Crestron automation and AV control systems across commercial and high-end residential projects. The role involves system installation, programming support, troubleshooting, and client training to ensure seamless operation of integrated AV and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

System Installation & Commissioning

• Install, mount, and wire Crestron hardware including control processors, touch panels, lighting controls, and motorized shades.
• Configure systems according to project design specifications and technical drawings.

Programming & Configuration

• Load, modify, and test Crestron code using SIMPL Windows, Crestron Studio, or HTML5 interfaces.
• Ensure user interfaces and system controls function as intended.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support

• Diagnose and resolve system issues both on-site and remotely.
• Identify faulty components and repair or replace hardware when required.

Network Configuration

• Configure IP addresses, subnets, and network settings for Crestron devices to ensure proper communication across LAN/WAN networks.

Documentation & Testing

• Maintain system documentation, update diagrams, and record project changes.
• Perform final system testing and inspections to ensure optimal functionality.

Client Training

• Train end users on operating Crestron systems and provide basic troubleshooting guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Crestron software suites (Toolbox, SIMPL Windows, Crestron Studio).
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow (audio, video, control systems).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (IP, TCP/UDP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on-site installations.
