Auto Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair : Perform routine periodic maintenance (lubricants, filters, batteries) and preventive maintenance.

Maintenance & Repair : Perform break down maintenance and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Include LPG, electric motor, drive axle, differential etc.

Diagnostics : Use diagnostic tools and manuals to find faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

System Work : Repair/replace components like brakes, lifts, forks, chains, steering etc..

Safety check up : Perform Weekly safety check up by following check list to identify potential issues and safety concerns.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.

Inventory : Manage spare parts inventory and order needed parts on time.

Safety : Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License, potentially a fork lift Commercial License

Experience as a mechanic, not just a driver.

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Skills in welding, soldering, and operating heavy equipment.

Work Environment:

Industrial/warehouse settings.

May involve scheduled shifts or emergency call-outs. Must be on duty as per business requirement.

Can involve working with various equipment types (lifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, reach truck etc.).
