Job Responsibilities
- Design, install, commission, operate, and maintain industrial automation and control systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and other automated control systems.
- Monitor and maintain automation equipment used in steel production and processing operations.
- Diagnose electrical, instrumentation, and control-system faults and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and modify PLC programs, control logic, and HMI/SCADA applications when required.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems and field instruments.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Analyze system alarms, process data, and equipment performance to improve reliability and productivity.
- Ensure automation systems comply with technical specifications, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, system backups, and modification reports.
- Experience: 5 years
- Education: electrical & electronic engineering
- Skills: knowledge of industrial automation, knowledge of plc systems, industrial automation, knowledge of control systems, industrial engineering, scada systems, plc allen bradley, control systems design, production engineering, manufacturing engineering
