Position Title: Automation & SCADA Engineer
Location: Qatar
Work Schedule: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week
Job Objective
To provide engineering services for Automation and SCADA systems, including engineering documentation, software development, testing, and commissioning, ensuring reliable and safe system performance in line with client standards.
Scope of Work
The engineer will be responsible for the following systems and activities:
- Ignition SCADA
- Engineering documentation
- SCADA application development
- System testing and FAT/SAT support
- Site commissioning
- Rockwell Automation
- PLC programming
- HMI development
- SCADA integration
- Testing and commissioning support
- Schneider Automation
- PLC programming
- HMI development
- SCADA system engineering
- Testing and commissioning support
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications
- Prepare and maintain engineering and as-built documentation
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Support site commissioning activities
- Coordinate with client and site teams to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure compliance with project standards, safety, and quality requirements
