Roles & Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics

Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using diagnostic scanners and specialized tools.

Identify faults in engine management systems, transmission, electrical, and electronic components.

Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and technical data.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose and repair issues related to fuel systems, sensors, ECUs, ABS, and electrical systems.

Conduct detailed inspections to determine the root cause of vehicle problems.

Ensure repairs follow manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Technical Support

Assist workshop technicians with complex diagnostic issues.

Provide technical recommendations for repair solutions.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Conduct test drives and system checks to confirm successful repairs.

Ensure vehicle performance and safety before returning to customers.

Documentation

Maintain accurate diagnostic reports and service records.

Communicate technical findings to service advisors and workshop managers.

Requirements

Education

Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology / Mechanical Engineering

Technical Skills

Experience using OBD scanners and automotive diagnostic software

Strong knowledge of engine management systems and vehicle electronics

Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals
