Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and engine tuning.
- Diagnose engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and braking system issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure vehicle reliability.
- Test vehicles after repairs to ensure issues are resolved.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Follow safety standards and workshop procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with service advisors and supervisors on repair requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / ITI / Trade Certificate in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 25 years of experience as an automobile mechanic.
- Experience working with passenger vehicles / commercial vehicles (specify if required).
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Valid driving license is an advantage
