Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented AV Solution Designer with experience on Q-SYS, Crestron and other platforms Solutioning and Programming.
Responsible for analysing, designing, developing, programming, and deploying integrated AV/IT solutions using leading industry platforms such as Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp etc. The role includes creating system architectures, writing control code, developing user interfaces, testing solutions, and delivering fully functional systems that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Design & Architecture
Design end-to-end AV/IT control system solutions.
Develop system schematics, signal flow diagrams, network topology, and equipment BOQ.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on requirements gathering and scope definition.
Recommend hardware, software, and infrastructure needed for solution delivery.
2. Programming & Integration
Program, configure, and troubleshoot Crestron control processors, touch panels, and peripherals.
Develop Q-SYS based automation, logic, and device control modules.
Integrate third-party devices (audio Speakers, Amplifiers, DSPs, displays, switchers, network equipment, etc.).
Build user interfaces that are intuitive and aligned with UX guidelines.
3. Testing, Commissioning & Deployment
Perform bench testing, validation, and quality assurance on all control solutions.
Conduct on-site commissioning, system calibration, and final configuration.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
Create and maintain system backups and version-controlled code repositories.
4. Documentation
Produce high-quality technical documentation including:
oSystem design drawings
oControl logic documentation
oUser guides and operational manuals
oAs-built records
Maintain change logs for code revisions and updates.
5. Collaboration & Support
Work with project managers, field technicians, and other engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
Provide remote or onsite technical support and problem resolution.
Train end-users and technical staff on system operation.
Contribute to continuous improvement and best-practices development.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience with Crestron programming (SIMPL, SIMPL#, VT-Pro-e, Crestron Home, or NVX).
Hands-on experience with Q-SYS platform programming (logic modules, automation scripts, device APIs).
Knowledge of AV system design principles: audio, video, networking, and control.
Understanding of protocols: TCP/IP, RS232, IR, USB, HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, SIP, etc.
Ability to read and create wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and system drawings.
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, D-Tools, MS Visio, or similar.
Professional Skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related field (preferred).
37 years of experience in AV/IT system programming or solution design.
Industry certifications (such as CTS, QSYS, Dante, Crestron etc) are a plus.
Experience in automation, integration, and enterprise AV systems is highly desirable.

Salary AED- 10000-12000 Per month + Benefits
