About The Role
We're building next-generation AI systems for aviation and autonomous flight — and we need people who speak the language of the skies. If you can tell a squawk code from a go-around instruction, this role was made for you.
As an Aviation Communications Transcriber, you'll work with real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot audio recordings, producing high-quality transcriptions that directly train AI systems used in aviation safety and autonomy. This is specialized, meaningful work at the intersection of aviation expertise and cutting-edge AI development.
- Organization: Alignerr (Powered by Labelbox)
- Type: Hourly / Task-Based Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Transcribe real-world ATC ↔ pilot audio recordings with precision
- Label speakers, callsigns, clearances, instructions, and read-backs accurately
- Capture aviation-specific terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
- Work on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule
- Consistently meet quality and accuracy standards critical to AI training integrity
Who You Are
- A pilot, student pilot, Air Traffic Controller, dispatcher, or aviation professional

You don't need to be a professional transcriptionist. You do need to understand aviation communications at a genuine level.
