Civilian aircraft maintenance license or certificate, e.g. (Mechanical) A&P certificate or B1 license.
Bachelor's degree in an aircraft maintenance discipline (Airframe/Powerplant; Electrical/Avionics; Aircraft Maintenance technology) is preferred.
Instructional techniques / Train-the-Trainer certificate and/or acceptance/approval/certification by a civilian/military agency/organization is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Instructor will have a minimum of three (3) years experience teaching technical (maintenance) material with a related aircraft/engine/major component manufacturer, or within a military/civilian aircraft maintenance organization.
Instructor will have a minimum of eight (8) years practical experience in the required discipline (A&P or Avionics) with a demonstrated aptitude for instructing;
Prior experience working with military aviation units is preferred; and
Knowledge of, and experience in, training methodologies and management utilizing a systems approach (SAT or ADDIE) is preferred.
