The Back Office Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of our organization's back-office operations. This includes handling client inquiries, monitoring internal processes, coordinating with various departments, upholding established procedures, facilitating day-to-day operations, and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners to resolve payment-related issues. The objective is to contribute to our mission of operational excellence by meticulously managing these critical aspects of our financial services.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Handle client inquiries related to their payments, tracking, recording, reporting, storing, and monitoring of information related to transactions.
- Monitor the correct workflow (deposit/withdrawal process in internal system)
- Internal transfers between clients trading accounts.
- IB rebates processing requests, for IB withdrawals and performance/management fees.
- Communicate and coordinate with different departments for general inquiries and issues.
- Adhering to procedures and ensuring they remain up to date and relevant.
- Ensuring day to day smooth running of operation including settlement, reconciliation, cash management and margin process.
- Resolve payment related issues with our banking partners.
Qualifications
- Degree educated.
- Basic background in Banking/ Treasury.
Experience
- 1 - 3 years experience in Banking/ Treasury/ Back Office operations
- Preferably have knowledge in FX & trading
Skills and competencies
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Self-motivated and can work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills in English & Arabic (Writing & Speaking)
