About The Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Barista at
Jumeirah The Red Sea.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Take orders and serve food and beverages as requested by guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service. This includes items such as coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, muffins, pastries, and cookies.
- Maintain complete knowledge of the menu, including food and beverages, and provide recommendations and advice to guests and colleagues as necessary.
- Ensure that guests receive the correct order and that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the bar menu and perfect recipes for signature drinks.
- Collect money for orders served, process financial transactions following standard cashiering procedures, and ensure all bills are checked for accuracy before presentation to the guest.
- Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as coffee machines and grinders before each shift to ensure optimal performance.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :
- Hold a Higher Secondary School certificate or Country specific certification
- Have 1 year bartending experience in a luxury hotel .
- Completed a basic Food and Hygiene Training .
- Possess experience of working in an international capacity.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone .
