Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
We are looking for a Bartender who embodies genuine hospitality. someone who provides service that is courteous, professional, efficient, and effortlessly personable. With a passion for beverages and the craft of mixology, they bring creativity, flair, and precision to every pour. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with guests and provide exceptional service while following the assigned standards operating procedures.
- Ensure to possess a high standard of personal appearance and grooming at all times.
- Collaborate well with other team members working other functions of the restaurant
- Prepare and serve a selection of cocktails, wines, spirits and other beverages from the menu while ensuring to follow the established recipes.
- Excellent knowledge of the wine, cocktail and beverage menu
- Having excellent knowledge about the food menu on offer while developing a complete working knowledge of the menus, ingredients and information for the restaurant and resort.
- Ensure to keep the bar organized, clean and monitoring established par levels while adjusting them as required for all beverages, glassware and other equipment.
- Maintain inventory, restock supplies and ingredients.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Assist in development of new cocktail and beverage menus.
- To establish a rapport with guests, providing guest recognition and good customer relationships.
- To maintain the upkeep of all the beverage menus and checking the menus prior and during the closing of the bar.
- Assist the team of servers during the service, whenever there is a need to provide support at any time.
- Maintaining welcoming and service efficient environment
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Outlet Manager, Director of Food and Beverage
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years previous experience as a bartender in a luxury resort/ hotel/ upscale restaurant or similar hospitality environment
- College education or equivalent experience.
- Previous employment experience in a similar position will be advantageous
- Requires the ability to operate restaurant operating systems ( POS )
- Knowledge of bar equipment and safety regulations.
- Requires to be able to read, write and speak in English fluently, bilingual is an advantage
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and be a team player
