Job Summary
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality
- Engage with guests professionally, providing recommendations and personalized service
- Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and seasonal specialties
- Ensure bar mise en place is prepared before service
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Verify guest age requirements in compliance with local regulations
- Process guest orders accurately through the POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Support cost control by minimizing waste and breakage
- Assist in monthly inventory and stock-taking procedures
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in 5-star hotel or upscale bar
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Well-groomed appearance in line with luxury hospitality standards
- Basic knowledge of food pairing is an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Relevant hospitality certification is preferred
